A liitle motivation

Brother Bear the other day:

"Mom.  I know you got another baby in you tummy."

"I do? Why do you say that?"

"Cuz you tummy is big again!"

Thanks son.  I'm thinking some ab work is in order?  :) hahaha.

It's a wonderful life

Time, slow down

Oh time, slow down and stay awhile.
Perhaps you'd like to rest?
Put up your feet, no need to rush,
For childhood doesn't last.

My baby girl is 3 months old today.  *sob* Maybe it's because she is my last, but oh my word - this precious time is slipping through my fingers like sand!  I love when she does new things - her giggle is simply scrumptious.  She has a small dimple in her left cheek that melts my heart when she smiles.  I love this stage of life.  Even with all the demands of an infant, I love it.  I love the smell of her sweet, soft skin.  I love the neck snuggles.  I love watching her sweet cheeks as she nurses.  I haven't had time to make too many mistakes she has to forgive.  :)  So my house may not be perfectly together like I would like, or there may be laundry in a pile, or dishes in my sink.  But this sweet precious time is such a small speck, I think I'll hold my baby instead.

My sweet baby girl.  I can hardly believe you are EIGHT years old today.  You are such a joy and I'm so grateful to have you in our family!  You are an incredible help with your brothers and sister, and I love how you always try to choose the right.  You constantly amaze me.  I love your laugh - it's like music to the soul.  You are a beautiful girl, inside and out and I am so happy to be your mom!  I'm so excited for your upcoming baptism and I know you will continue to make good choices and set such a great example for me.  You are one of my greatest blessings!

I've decided I have to start blogging again because it's my way of keeping a journal, and I'm missing writing down all the things my kids are saying and doing!  Life has a way of SPEEDING by and it seems like I've been in a weird fog for months!  I'm ready for some sunshine!  :)
